| Green Linear Novelty Quilt Here is a simple way to use up leftover fabric. Cut it into strips, sew them together, and make a linear quilt. You can make it very scrappy, or you can use all of the same color. The picture below is part of a quilt made from mostly green fabrics. It also uses novelty prints. Greens are one of the easiest colors to blend. Blue is the hardest. This is a great quilt technique for both new and scrappy quilters. If you like, you can sew the strips right on the batting and backing, so you quilt as you go - as you attach each strip.
