Crazy Girls Novelty Fabric Placemat

This is a really cute placemat made from novelty fabric that is great for the beginning quilter.  It is made very simply from one big piece of novelty fabric for the large rectangle, a matching solid color for the strip on the left side, and just one quilt block on the bottom left.  The quilt is minimal, and the binding makes the border.  Make a set of these placemats in different fabrics for a very whimsical and fun table.  (Note: Some extra fabric has been added under one of the sections on the pinwheel quilt block and then folded back over the pinwheel. This give the look of a napkin.  Really special touch!)
